For me, I find their service standard is not bad but not their troubleshooting knowledge or skill.
They don't have better knowledge and skill in troubleshooting problems with the car especially their testor and supervisor compared to other agent like C&C.
Just my sharing of experience.

I feel that going to TCB Ubi is worse than going to a roadside workshop. Their mechanics all d**n boh chap, got attitute, and d**n lazy. Once after servicing my car there I checked thru the service sheet and it said very clearly "Engine Wash". I opened the bonnet and the dirt was as thick as ever. Big Lie! I wrote in to TCB and they offered me a free waxing. Then there was another time, my car was being serviced, and when it struck 5pm all the SA left, turning off the office lights, leaving me all alone in the half dark, empty basement. I could not believe it.

Frankly, I agree with you that they are all big liars even all the way up to the higher management as I have bad encounters with them. The GM told me they change certain item but I found out they did not change at all, how amazing that is.

Any such problem? Long ago, ever went for a sort of "rectify or adjust" some caliper issue but went to one of the branch, not the BT one. Advisor scanned thru my records and said that I've not done any servicing with them, (which is not true, hav been "faithfully" following servicing intervals). He refused (initially) to attend to my "feedback". I then request they thoroughly check thru the servicing history, after some minutes, they found the records as it was updated in their system...

Story 1 On the first day when i collected my Sylphy, i realised that the reverse warning sound is very loud, so i send it down to Bukit Timah service centre and the answer i got was it normal as its is fix by the factory, as than i realised that maybe alot of Singaporean have hearing problem but the SA still willing to fix it for me and i had to wait for over an hour just to get the device change to face the other way, that goes my mood for getting a new car. (why can't the SA just get it done without having to irritate the customer with irrelevant comments?) Story 2 Need to go JB for official work, but due to is a new car i decided to drive another car. Must be my lucky day, my Sylphy brake-switch spoilt so can't shift gear, my dear sister have to do manual over-ride and this time send to Ubi service centre. The next day when i drive the car, i realised that there is a clinking sound whenever i step on the brake. Again back to Ubi. The SA felt that is nothing wrong and get me to try the Sylphy parked next to me to see whether is the same, true enough is the same. Due to me keep insisting, he got the TESTER to speak to me, after some dis-please show on my face, the TESTER suggested that i can try the test-drive car to hear, the SA got me the key and no clinking sound at all, this is the best part, the TESTER said " Aiya, wrong car, you must try the 1.5 not the 2.0 ", i really wonder do they know about cars. Tested the 1.5, no sound, the TESTER took out the brake-switch from the test-drive car and change to my car and than claimed is the new switch faulty. I really wonder after that, did they also change the brake-switch for the sylphy next to me which is also faulty, feel so sad for the driver for that sylphy. (Can't believe they are SA and TESTER.) Story 3 My front passenger door panel vibrating with sound when i was enjoying the ICE by Nissan factory. This time gone to Toa Payoh service centre around 3pm. I was told he need 1 whole day just to check what's wrong with it, my heart really sink. Door panel take 1 day what if overhaul? 1 year? and with a group of mechanics standing in front of me smoking and no other cars in sight at the service bay what is the point of operating till 5pm? when i also told him that the alignment of the ICE head unit is abit out, he told me he have to check other's sylphy it is the same, i burst out laughing at that very moment not even feeling abit angry. The same nuts from 2 different SA from 2 service centre. Is this the SOP answer to your customer? need to compare with other same model car to check the fault, if the other's Sylphy have a upside down ICE, my will be turn upside down too. Anyway noting been done, was told to lower the volume of the ICE and come back during my 10000km free servicing and they will than check for me. What a disappointing joke and time wasted. Conclusion I have been driving for the last 20 years and this is my 7th car. Never had I been through so much disappointment for buying a new car. Can't wait to have my last 10000km free servicing and never will I step into TanChong ever again. Confidently, this will be my first and last Nissan.

well, looks like different people have different experiences with TCM. Let me share my 2 cents...
I sent my car to Bukit Timah w/s on 3 occasions and Ubi w/s on 3~4 occasions also.
The experience at BT wasnt that good. I usually send my ride in before 8am and I had to join a long queue. Normally owners wait beside their rides waiting for the SAs to turn up. Once I remember waiting for 40mins before being served. It took more than 1/2 day to service my ride and I couldnt understand because those were the 1st 3 servicings and were supposed to be the simplest ones. My ride is parked in the baking sun before being driven up to me by an old uncle. Other times, I was asked to hunt for it at an open car park myself.
The experience at Ubi was much better. Checking in and out were all done in the basement carpark, away from the rain and shine. Breakfast and free drinks were provided at the waiting area in the basement as well, whilst waiting to be served by the SA. Waiting times were much shorter than BT. I usually wait at the lounge at level 3 and the fastest I collected my ride was about 2 hours. I think that was not too bad considering my ride was washed and the dashboard polished as well.
So overall, I am very satisfied with Ubi workshop.
I have also been driving over 20 years and I worked in the automotive industry when I was young....including a one year stint with one of the biggest car distributors in Singapore. By any standard, TC's service is very acceptable and i would rate it above average.
Hope this is helpful

For me everywhere is the same. Is the person serving you matters most not the company.

even is the person serve you very nice... its the person who service yr car
that is another issue
I believe 1 out of 10 car...1 car is sure to forgot some parts. Or nv services that part at all.
