Was travelling along Holland Road this afternoon. Made a left turn to Farrer Road. Whilst on the left, I turned on my signals to move to the right. slowly filtering across. There was this grey Altis in front of me. No problems with him. Then I saw this red Piss-Canto... There was more than a car's length for me to move in, in front of him. (I can make love in front of your car and you would not hit me!) thingy-eyed!
I carefully manoveured myself in (usually I'm very reckless). The red Piss-canto blared its horn at me, for reasons unknown. Continued on to horn, for I felt it lasted almost a minute. Within that 'musical session', I got rather pissed (see how I got the name for the Picanto?). I slowed down to almost a halt.
Waited for the fruitcake to overtake me. It didnt. So I carried on my journey at below speed limit on that road (70km/h). Slowed down further to 30km/h. Still no overtaking from the wimp.
Along Adam/Lornie road, the Piss-canto filtered left to enter PIE. As it passed, I tried to see whether its a HE or a SHE. Cant see with the curtains blocking. So its an IT.
So does anyone know this driver? If so, let IT know that IT's horn is pathetic! Can try changing to air horn! It's LOUDER! The driver itself is pathetic! The traffic was slow, IT was going slow, everyone was going slow! So why the HELL should IT be doing what it did??!!
I was thinking... SJJ new plate? Maybe juz passed one year, take out xmas tree and yaya with IT's Kopi-O license driving!
Really Piss me off with this RED PISS-CANT-O!! Stupid Singaporean!
*another day of driving in SG*

Agree. Getting more and more new ungracious road-users. My condolences...
Look at MasQ, so gracious, cut in between two adjacent cabs tactfully and gracefully. Pedal to the metal and disappear into the horizon.

Lol. Bro, singapore cars don't dare to take on MY cars one lah. They know it's dumbly not worth it.
Accident already also dunno how to claim if you run. Or even got no insurance. ^^
But this type of kayu drivers getting more and more. Dunno how they pass and get their driving licence. Recently this sat also at balestier road...terrible, from idiots parking at double yellow lines on a super busy road to dumbasses trying to cut into a jam packed lane, to bochup taxi drivers simply stopping there and blocking everyone and kayu aunties trying to cut from left to right and right to left.
Next time must install video cams then send footage to TP. ^^

Whenever I'm going fast cut here cut there, apparently all the cars like guai guai stay same speed in their lane. When I cut slowly, I find that SG drivers always same style...PAI KUAN!! Like the phenomenon when you signal to change lane, the car in that lane behind will always go faster. So nowadays bochup, see opening just cut in..you horn, I tap brake..... ;D

I have to agree with that phenomenon in SG, has been an issue for decades.
I do encounter such issues too whereby presence of e.g. 2 car's length gap, signal to filter and the 'gap' like magic, suddenly closes up.
Only difference I do is... with intention to filter when gap exist, I will move up towards the gap, align my ride then I signal to filter... if the gap begin to closes I will just 'jump' into the gap and immediately slow down by upto 30kmph (not via brakinging)*. However, if the gap remains or lengthen abit, I will filter into the gap as per normal and wave 'thanks' to the ride behind.
* If kana horned for being a tortise, I will increase speed quickly upto road's speed limit only. If ride behind decide to change lane to overtake, I will increase speed to keep him behind. If ride behind decide to filter to the extreme left lane to do overtaking, I will make sure tat ride comes back to the right lane behind me again... yes I m a bastard but only to such drivers who initially acted like a bastard to me or other road users (applies to Tailgaters too). Vigilante FTW ;D

Fwah... who dare horn you for being slow.. haha...!! ;D ;D Perhaps, only GTR will dare horn you... ROFL, u will be surprised!! I kana horned at for travelling @ 85-90kmph along a 90kmph speedlimit expressway... FYI, I m on lane-2 hor, not the overtaking lane which is lane-1... kana frm Taxi, QQ, Picanto, Camry, etc. Sometimes, they dont horn but move up real close to my butt... given my ride's height, if I can see only abt 25% of the rear ride's bonnet... that is freaking close !!

dont play play. there is a picanto running TD04. So what? There are cars running alphabets TP and LTA. And SHCs who will out-boost most of us 0-100. Unless he did extensive engine overhaul, I doubt he can go beyond 0.6 without damaging his engine in a year or 2. And if he can fork out the cash to do the overhaul(or drop an engine and assorted parts), I wonder why he doesn't get a proper turbo car instead. FWah serious or not? Like that I better let go my ride.

Like that I better let go my ride. Why? You on TD04? Honestly, Picanto engine, not too sure but aga aga if wanna avoid engine blowout, i'm guessing 0.5bar max. Nothing wrong with that. It's still a turbo. And I have to admit with a light body, the .5 might go a long way. If you have it installed, just out of curiosity, where you mount your intercooler? Personally, I find that tc-ing a car not meant to be tc-ed is a waste of time, money and effort. Just my opinion since we're all living with ridiculously draconian LTA laws. It's would be great to see an general eco car go faster than the specs on paper, but end of the day, I'd rather use the money to downpay for an actual turbo platform. And another thing. Cars that go to the extent of such mods tend to have drivers with more of a bo chup, riskier driving style. In fact, they tend to 'jip' whatever car they percieve to be the' next higher level' in an attempt to prove they can do it or for ego reasons. And as my sensei says, LTA very clever, they know the normal eco cars platform or body not meant to take the extra punishment, there's a good reason why it's not allowed. d**n...removed my post you still can find. ^^ *Pssst* **Just read the blog. Just proves my point. If every car on the road had a turbo, we'll be right back where we started. -_-
