Kena chop? Really ah? ust try my luck to see if any cefiro scrapped... looking for the rear screen automatic sun shade.. mine kaput! Bro, if you want to look for stuff like that, try posting ads in the major car forums looking for owners who are looking to scrap their cefiros and offer to top up an amount on top of the swap labour. Would be much cheaper this way IMO. For scrapyards, unless you know someone there, the pricing would be 80-100% of a new unit selling price by TCM. If they wanna carrot you, even more(think 101-300%) depending on how hard up and inexperienced they deem you are. Mostly they will give excuses like if they remove this remove that then what is left is devalued. Or this car model scrap very little so parts very exensive coz hard to find everyone looking for it. BS. If they do that, just ignore the scrapyard and move on. Or you can counteroffer with telling them outside selling at *below market 2nd hand value* and offer this best price. If they insist on the full price, you know that you're wasting your time. But for fun you can tell them TCM selling at their price ask them if they provide 3 years warranty like TCM? If wanna go scrap yard, must do your research first on the item's worth. Then see market 2nd hand selling price how much. Never accept any offer above the 2nd hand price(or 30-40% of item selling price by TCM) or slightly more if you're hard up. And if they do give you an acceptable offer, when they strip out the item, stay there and watch them and take note of the connectors/related fixtures they remove and ask for them after it's done.
