Autoglym High Definition Wax is a non-reactive semi - permanent coating that sits on top of existing surfaces, offer resistance to environmental contaminants e.g. salt, detergents, UV light, acid rain, industrial fallout, etc. The product is completely free of abrasives, water and emulsifiers. deeper, darker, more reflective paint finish. Synthetic polymers bond to paint, delivering extreme protection. Eliminates fine scratches and swirls, creating a flawless finish. Synthetic Sealant 2.0 #21 FAQ :Q. How long can this sealant last?A. I think it depends on a lot of factors. How often you drive it, where it is parked, how often you wash it, weather conditions exposed to, other factors like bird droppings etc...For me it last around 10-12 weeks.Q. Are polymer sealants safe/good for my car's finish?A. A high quality polymer sealant is good for your car's finish, a poor quality polymer sealant may lull you into a false sense of security because you think your car is protected when in reality, it's not. Quality polymer sealants are noted for their ability to offer longer lasting protection than traditional Carnauba-based waxes, but in recent years, there have been many inferior formulations marketed at extremely high prices giving consumers the impression they are superior, thus justifying the exorbitant price. Some answers extracted from www.meguiars.com

Q. What is a Clay Bar.A. Clay bars seems to be the big thing at the moment, everybody is talking about them, which may explain why there are so many misconceptions about them! Hopefully I can clear up a few things in this article. A claybar can remove contaminates which are on the surface but will not remove etching, scratches or swirl marks. The story goes that some Japanese chap discovered that he could take riverbed clay and clean his car with it… however, you are unlikely to find a real clay bar on the market. The ones you can buy are plastic and pretty much made of the same stuff as Blu-tac, only blended to be stickier and harder. The basic idea is that you rub it over your car’s paintwork and the stickiness sucks up any contaminates such as raildust, fallout, overspray and organic matter. So it does ‘clean’ your paintwork, but some people are under the misapprehension that it will polish paintwork and can be used to remove swirl marks and scratches - it doesn’t.Q. Can Claying harm my car?A. If you don’t use them properly - you bet they do! You are rubbing them reasonably firmly all over your car, so if you get any bits of grit in them they will cause scratches. You have been warned!

Autoglym Paint Renovator is an abrasive paint restorer. The use of any abrasive polish on automotive paintwork should always be restricted to the correction of specific problems such as scratches or oxidation. Automotive paintwork is extremely thin and every time the surface is renovated using abrasive compounds some of the paint is removed. Most original finishes are tougher on the outer surface than the underneath layers. The outer layer should therefore be preserved as far as possible. We recommend you always try Autoglym Super Resin Polish first as it may rectify your problem without undue paint removal. If additional treatment is required Autoglym Paint Renovator contains exceptionally fast working abrasives to give a rapid but controllable cutting and polishing action. It contains no silicone and will remove light scratches and oxidation. Information extracted from www.autoglym.com
