Choices for the 195/60R15 range is rather limited. Usually grip level are reasonable based on this specs range. Normal streets range. GY LS2000, Dunlop LM703 (if can find), Hk Optimo, etc.. unsure if hankook V12 got stock. Size common for Falken ZE522. Slightly Pricier ones wud be from BS, Yoko dNA501, Miche MXV1.
Some seriesha stated above might be outdated.

Hi there to all bros... .... Would like some recommendation which are really quiet and have good grip.... Please advice.... Thank You ! U may want to be educated that there is No Good Grip tyres that is really quiet nor really quiet tyre that have good grip. When we want good grip expect noise, the better the grip the noisy the tyre is over comfort/quiet tyres. When we want really quiet tyre, forego on grip which also mean forgo road holding and safety at higher speed. E.g. AD-07 and AD-08, supreme dry grip but hell of noisy. Tyre models taxis or van use are really quiet (noise is the engine) but the grip (both wet and dry) sux big time... they are considered "economy tyre". Hope this example would give u a clearer pix of what I m trying to say. I always go the the best balance of "thread wear rating + Dry/Wet grip while noise is not in the equation. If I go for pure dry grip w/o regard for noise or thread wear or wet grip, AD-07 or AD-08 is my choice. What is your priority so that better recommendations can surface. - Safety, road holding? - Dry grip performance? - Wet grip performance? - Dry and Wet Grip performance? - Good wear rating (longer mileage)?

I find Hankook RS2 comparable to yoko AD07. Wet grip Is relatively acceptable. {but come on, whoever in mind, wouldnt dare speed on wet rainy roads?- I dunno about TS, but I definitely wouldnt.} except I dun like RS2 being soft compound tire. AD07 being hard compound tire offer better feedback. Btw AD07 is replaced by AD08 already.

Yups AD-07 has been replaced by AD-08 but can still get e AD-07 Between AD-07 and AD-08, AD-08's wet grip is up a bar while dropping dry grip a bar. Never tried AD-08 but I think the noise level is close to AD-07... of course noise dont bother me but 100% bothers alot of people out there especially statements used like "I want quiet"... We dont have to hide, there are people who travel at >90kmph on a raining wet expressway... otherwise I wont be over taken by taxis or sedans when I m travelling at 90kmph during raining days. Anyway after using AD-07 for 2 cycles, I must say it is scary during wet conditions... dont even dare travel more than 80kmph. However, I do love both the AD-07 and AD-08... track ready street tyres FTW !!

Ronin sensei never recomm Federal tires ah? Myself used to run on Yoko C-Drive. Personal feel is pretty good being a comfort and quiet tire. However heard from YHI (local distributor for Yoko tires) that Yoko has stopped producing C-Drive, so its no longer available I think. Currently my G11 is running on undersized Falken ST115. They came together 2nd hand with a set of 16" forged rims. Grip is much better compare with my C-Drives, and noise is surprisingly low. Checked with Stamford Tyre before as to how much a new set of ST115 cost, they quoted S$160 per tire (205/55R16). If yours is 15", may be slightly cheaper I suppose...

Ronin (浪人) never recomm Federal tires ah? I thot I did. Strictly for the budget conscious, profile sidewall 55 and below. Overall, the SS595 is pretty good for that kind of price but tends to be rather audible.
But for 195/60R15, no SS595 series, no BS 001R, no AD08. Jus stick to C-drives or ZE912 or LS2000.

This maybe late for thread starter but for still valid for future enquires by others.
Go for the Michelin Pilot Sport 3 (a.k.a. Michelin PS3). It is a very good Max Performance Tyre (good dry/wet grip too) for street application plus it has a very high treadwear rating of 320 !!!Note to above: 1. Max Performance is kinda "1-level" below Extreme Performance which are meant for DOT-approved tyres (semi-slick) for street use... most will have better dry grip, lesser wet grip and with a treadwear rating of under 200. 2. The general 'international' categorisation of tyre performance categories are as follows: - DOT and/or Track... slicks - Extreme Performance... semi-slicks - Max Performance - Ultra High Performance - High Performance - Touring... simply means economy tyres Cheers all.

Nismoneo bro, good choice! Thumbs up to your clear sharing with the rest of the bros.. =)))
Ronin: i dun really like the ZE912. After using it, i find that its grip is very bad.. Even on dry also can slip. Got a bro drove my car the other day, curse and swear at the tyres.. hahaha..
Boblim: if u wanna get comfort and grippy tyres, there's none available. There will be some compromise in either department. so the Pilot Sport 3 i still feel is a good choice. Got another bro used it, good reviews abt it.. =)))

What NismoNeo cited in his comment, "there is No Good Grip tyres that is really quiet nor really quiet tyre that have good grip" is not new among us. And holds virtually true.
In conclusion, for those on modest practical rides, try to get tyres with asymmetrical tread pattern for an all-round reasonable performance with reasonable quietness. =)

Hi Ronin, yups looks like I have been away from the forum but that does not mean I do not pop-by and read which I do, I just do not post.
Given technology advances thanks to Motorsports, anyone eager to get relatively quiet tyre with good dry/wet grip... any new tyres that was born in 2008 and above in the Max Performance Category should meet your needs. Some are better in dry, some in wet, some comfort, some better in braking distance in dry, some better braking distance in wet, some is cheaper, etc etc etc... no one tyre is the same as it will suit different consumer's wants.
Anyway, as I have suggested above (Michelin Pilot Sport 3) was based on a treadwear rating of 320 and reasonable price for Max Performance Tyre with very good dual weather performance.
My own new set of rubber is Bridgestone Potenza RE11.

Hi everybody, I'm totally new to tyres, n my latio's TOYO J50 is almost time to change... Can you all advise me on what to change? Any that matches the current J50 tyres? Advisable to use back J50? :-)

Haiz ..... CSC5 don't seem to meet my expectation, specially in the wet, almost bang in front during Ebrake. Scary.
