Dear all members, I was told that if any new car never go back to TC for regular servicing but if you service outside or Auto Saver, TC will void your warranty? Is that true? Anyone can comment on this or heard any such information? Appreciate your input.

I asked them about it once and their comment was, as long as you go back to them for the major services then you're still safe with the warranty. If you don't go at all, if anything spoils, they can claim that you never take care of your car properly; or should i say your outside workshops never take care of your car.

Brother, thanks for your information and it will benefit all members here. Guess it is the same as C&C then cos if you go back for the major servicing like 40K, 80K etc then your warranty will be intact though you have gone outside for rest of the servicing period.

Hey mates, I just got my Teana Yesterday, regarding about TC servicing. And i read the Nissan Owner's Guide Book. Its said Nissan Service Centre or it's Authorised Service Outlets. Who are the Service outlets ? Autosaver??. As i don't wish to go back to TC after my free servicing. As Above you sure abt major servicing ??

Lubricants comes in different viscosity and grades. Differnet brands yields diff characteristics. Check with EngineNear.

Suggest you maintain your first 3 free service with agent for your Teana, as well as the major ones. The minor ones can get Harmony or AS to do. Note that 'Service Outlets' does not denote outside workshops - AS, etcc..

For humble rides like our Nis-sans. Strongly suggest Amsoil Signature series. If your ride has been using W30 viscocity in which, in doing light footing (/light throttle) all the time, still acceptable. Oil change interval is usually 10,000km or 6 months. But my buddies and I never wait till then. We replaces the lubes at interval of 5k~7k, approx ard 2~3months. We tentatively using 红线.
