Dear bros, came across this item while flipping through hypertune. Designed for the bros who don't want to spend like $1k on a piggyback and tuning but looking to improve fc and if possible some driveability on bhp and torque. Not too sure either if this item works, but in general, if you have not tuned your ecu, the stock setting as I understand it is that the air/fuel mixture is set to rich so as to prolong the life of the engine and prevent pings, knocks and overheating to minimize warranty coverage. This however, as I'm told is unnecessary as it results in carbon build up and high fc. Not too sure about the figures but thats the theory. Any bros can confirm this? What this item does is act as a mini cai cum air filter that feeds the air directly to your header air feed tube. This bypasses the MAF sensor where the normal equation of fuel to air would be F1.0/A1.0 and changes the equation to something like F1.0/A1.0+A0.2, meaning that the mix becomes +20% leaner and results in fc improvement without expensive tuning to reprogram the air/fuel ratio. However, not too sure about the price yet as have not contacted them for quote. Looking for bros who might be interested in this item to get a group buy discount. Bro, there's a dyno chart in the mag, but dunno how to transplant it here since it's like quite small in the mag too.
Not sure if their site have anot leh. Sent mail to them already. Now awaiting reply.

Hi all, the cost as informed by their personnel is Rm 220, not sure if installation is included, but it looks pretty easy to install.
So it converts to about $90 bucks.
Hoping to get at least 5 buyers then ask them for discount, and probably visit their shop during jb trip see whether can get any discount. =)

Enginenear I leave to you lah!! Who else want to join?? Quick quick!! 90 bucks for 3.9bhp increase!! Good for stock airbox and untuned vehicles!!

Certain parameters in our somewhat remapped brains may not be able to adapt to this add-on. Tis look like some vacuum bleeder device.. Btw, how do you calc +3.9bhp? "How can I ever learn to calc like you?" Sounds familiar, isnt it? ;D
On a serious note, I've a different theory, unsure if accurate, can discuss when we meet. Remind me.

Lol. No problem man. I don't mind trying out first coz the theory I have is quite simple. More air into a/f mix = leaner burn = fuel efficiency. I'm looking more at the fuel saving and if it comes with increased hp and better torque, why not?
I believe the fuel efficiency will be better, the hp and torque, I don't dare to make ssuch claims.

May not help much as N16 is using E-throttle. Mod to air intake may not hav any effect, unless u bore ur throttle body or installed Pivot E-Drive which u had done so.

Hehe, bro, this item is installed to the airhose AfTeR the e throttle/throttle body. Believe it's controlled by physical vacuum to the inlet manifold with a 1 way stop valve. Yeah, I know alot of mags got things that claim fc improvement, but this one is I think think, theory wise it does make sense. However, got to look at the physical thing itself and try out first to know. Planning to ask them all your questions also... Keep the questions(ammo) coming!

but now the tuning cost 1.6k >.< cannot afford lah and somemore cannot breakeven the amount spend not worth it already.
